미국 고등학생에게는 흥미진진한 이벤트로 마음을 들뜨게 만드는 홈커밍데이가 있습니다. 홈커밍데이는 매년 가을 전국 대학이나 고등학교에서 벌이는 학생들을 위한 축제이지만, 지역주민들도 함께 즐기는 행사이기도합니다.

그래서 올해는 미국 고등학교 풋볼에 취해서 벌써 4번이나 다녀왔습니다.단 $7주고 훌륭한 스포츠 행사를 볼수 있습니다.
홈커밍데이는 미국 고등학교 미식축구의 하이라이트입니다. 경기 전날 기수를 앞세운 마칭밴드가 동네 행진곡을 힘차게 연주를 하면서 학교 근처를 한 바퀴 행진하며 화려한 퍼레이드를 전날 시작합니다.퍼레이드를 구경하려고 아침 일찍부터 일어난 주민들은 온 식구가 함께 나와 환영의 박수를 치면서 그들을 맞이합니다.
홈커밍데이 하이라이트는 역시 미식축구 게임입니다.풋볼경기중치어리더들의 지휘에 맞춰 학교 재학생은 물론 졸업생들과 지역주민이 학부모들이 참가해 자기 학교 팀을 응원하며 즐거운 하루를 보내는 날입니다. 치어리더는 정말 고도의 실력을 발효해서 보기도 매우 좋습니다.
하프타임 시간에는 밴드에 그 동안 갈고 닦았던 치어리더의 실력을 뽐내며 스테디엄의 열기를 더욱 고조 시킨다. 그 뒤를 이어 졸업생 홈커밍 킹과 퀸이 참석해 재학생 홈커밍 킹 그리고 퀸을 뽑습니다.매우 즐거운 미국 고등학교 풋볼행사입니다.

The highlight of Homecoming Day is the American football game. It is a day where students, graduates and local residents, as well as school students, parents participate and cheer for their school team under the direction of cheerleaders during a football game. During halftime, the band shows off the cheerleading skills that have been honed in the past, further the enthusiasm of the stadium. This is followed by alumni homecoming kings and queens who attend and select current students homecoming kings and queens. It is a very enjoyable American high school football event.
